Eurovision Song Contest: Pleasing start to ticket sales for the Arena plus

Medienmitteilung

Präsidialdepartement

Tickets for the Arena plus went on sale this morning at 10am. Demand was very high, with 99% of the available seats for the largest public viewing of the ESC final on Saturday 17 May sold by 4 pm. Further seats are expected to go on sale at a later date.

The Arena plus programme at the St. Jakob-Park stadium has met with enormous interest. On the day of the final, 17 May 2025, the Arena plus will offer a unique public viewing experience with a big live show before the official TV broadcast. Performers include Anna Rossinelli, DJ Antoine and Baby Lasagna.

Ticket sales, which started today, were extremely pleasing. After just 15 minutes, half of the available seats had already been sold. No pre-registration was required to purchase the Arena plus tickets, which were sold via Ticketcorner, just like those for the main shows in the St. Jakobshalle.

Even though the currently available contingents are almost sold out, fans can hope to buy tickets again at a later date. Information on the start of a second sales phase will be provided in due course.

Basel celebrates Eurovision – a highlight even without a ticket

Basel offers all fans an unforgettable Eurovision experience. From 10 to 17 May 2025, the city will be dominated by the Eurovision Song Contest. The Eurovision Village at Messe Basel offers a varied daily programme of live concerts, public viewings, culinary delights and other exciting activities – all without an admission ticket.

There are also open-air celebrations: Regional and local artists perform daily at Eurovision Square on Barfüsserplatz. In addition, Eurovision Street and Eurovision Boulevard connect the central venues in the city centre and offer numerous experiences and catering options.

Beware of invalid tickets: Ticketcorner fanSALE as a safe alternative

Due to the high demand, the organisers are appealing to all fans not to buy their tickets on third-party platforms, but to look for verified tickets exclusively at Ticketcorner fanSALE at a later date. Ticketcorner's official resale market guarantees that all resold tickets are valid. The organisers cannot guarantee the validity of tickets from third-party platforms or private sales.
