Information steles
As part of its pedestrian information programme, the canton of Basel-Stadt has erected three large steles on Centralbahnplatz at the SBB railway station, at Badischer Bahnhof and at EuroAirport. The steles have an LED display on which important current events in Basel are shown in addition to a welcome message.

Criteria
Events that are communicated on the LED displays must fulfil at least one of the following criteria:
- Festivals and running events with Swisslos Fund or Swisslos Sports Fund contributions (Basel-Stadt)
- Customs and city festivals as well as public events in the Canton of Basel-Stadt
- Major national and international events
- Trade fairs with over 50,000 visitors
- Special exhibitions with more than 100,000 visitors
