International Cooperation
Strategic partnerships with selected cities are an integral part of the external relations of the Canton of Basel-Stadt important in promoting the city's international networks. Basel maintains good relations with a number of European cities and maintains partnerships with Massachusetts, Miami Beach, Seoul, Shanghai and Abidjan/Yopougon.
