The Staff Services manage the secretariat and administrative procedures in the areas of finances and personnel. Where necessary, it supports the members of the division with additional services. The Head of Staff Services is also responsible for sub-areas of policy preperation. She also manages and coordinates projects in cooperation with internal and external partners.

The Event Services acquire and manage major events in Basel and offer organisers unbureaucratic assistance, ranging from the clarification of requirements to the search for suitable event venues and support with the approval process.

The Policy Preparation Services division provides support and coordination for federal affairs that are of vital importance for Basel and the region. It ensures the flow of information from the cantonal administration to federal policy-makers and sees to it that the canton’s concerns are brought to the attention of political actors.
